My grandmother used to tell me the tales of a long lost civilization from long ago, from before even the First Avatar, that existed without spirits and grew  great nations. However that world has vanished.  Now a peace exists thanks to the unity of the Four Great Nations under the banner of Avatar Aang who recently ended the 100 year war. 

However, this peace would not last long. A new threat has come from beyond the stars, and I'm afraid that even the Avatar won't be able to stop it this time..
