Soulmates have always existed, but it wasn't until quirks came into being that they were finally confirmed to be a reality.
A woman, whose name is lost to history, was born with the ability to see the rumored red strings of fate and, eventually, her ancestor made them visible to the world.
While training to become the world's greatest heroes (or after becoming them), the students of UA are also on the lookout for the person they are destined to be with.
