Kimberly Lyn murdered her parents, she knew it, her new family knew it, her therapist knew it, but the FBI didn’t. Her new dad, Jared Stilinski, was her therapist and she isn’t the only young adult in his home that had killed her parents. Every kid in his house, killed their parents or guardians with the special abilities that they had. Kimberly was just another kid, only her story came with someone the others didn’t, or rather something.
Red eyes haunted her nightmares, as the only reminder of who really controlled her mind and her body when He wanted to. Kimberly would do anything to leave it all behind, but coming up to the one year anniversary Kimberly is taken from her home by someone she’d grown to trust. It’s when she’s with him that she realizes that maybe that night hadn’t been what she believed. Kimberly will have to face herself and the voices in her mind to fight for herself and to save those that she’s come to love. She’ll have to face her past head on, and let herself see the truth. She’ll have to see who was in control that night, her or the demon that wants to walk among humanity and hurt others that are like her. But is she ready for the truth?
