Its based on my relationships, so go ahead and tell me it's inappropriate or something - trust me i could make it way worse. 
The story takes place a couple years after the move. How did they fell in love? They stayed friends through letters, but when Tony moved permanently into the hotel he was visiting during the movie, and met again with the boy who kept him awake all nights, the spark shined once again and they couldn' let go again.
