Growing up she had very few people she could trust and depend on, but those people were her family. She is Erin Lindsay's younger half-sister, but that never changed the way Erin feels about her. In Erin's eyes, she is her baby sister, the most important person in her life. She would do anything to protect her and take care of her. They both were taken in by Hank Voight when Erin was 15 and Alyssa was 11, Hank and Alyssa instantly connected which benefited Alyssa not knowing who her father was. She went to the Police academy immediately after graduating high school. Once she graduated the academy at the top of her class, she joined Hank in the Gangs Unit making her one of the youngest to make detective that quickly. Once Intelligence was put together, he knew Alyssa would make a great asset to the team. Alyssa holds a lot of secrets; a lot of issues and she hides it well. What happens when a certain green-eyed detective catches her eye? How will Alyssa deal with the drama, lies, heartbreak, love, friendship, and secrets that unravel? Will she break or will she continue to fight for her happiness?
