The world has changed. Fifty-seventy years ago, scientists managed to successfully combine the DNA of a sheep and a human child, producing the world's first hybrid; part-human, part-animal beings. Since then, many other hybrids have popped up - all sorts of different species, categorised into either prey or predator. At first, hybrids were sold as 'pets' and treated like animals, but now they have been 'generously gifted' with human rights.
Hybrids nowadays can work jobs and buy houses, living in their own little close-knitted families. However, this doesn't mean that they're happily accepted by society. Especially not when some big, rich men decide to create a new form of entertainment - 'hybrid trafficking', and the world of hybrids is turned upside down once more, as the fight continues.

"Sir! Sir! I found a hybrid! Looks like they left one behind!"
"How old is it? We need to get an estimate of what age ranges those bastards are targeting."
"Sir, it's shifting back! Quick, someone grab a blanket or cloth!"
Hands quickly grabbing spare blankets laying in the back of the police cars, normally used to cover officers who'd just shifted back from their animal forms. Draping it over the small creature as it moved, letting out a low whine as it's muscle and bones shifted, transforming back into its human form.
"....Sir. It appears they've been capturing young children........ and they left behind a small girl, covered in bruises."
That's what they think. Nobody else notices the small black rabbit scampering away. At least, until he hides behind the bins in an alley near the biggest hybrid centre in the city.

Humans have not a single clue that there are hybrids living right next to them. With the exceptions of a few. The government being of those few. There was recently a new law that was passed in the U.S. stating that if anyone was to see a hybrid or knew of one, to immediately turn them in. If you were of any position in government to either kill on sight or arrest them. Most humans found this law useless considering no one believed that hybrids could ever be real. But what happens when a group of eight teens that are fed up with this law do whatever they can to get rid of it, and show every human that hybrids aren't all that they may seem.
