After living amongst the woodchips and sodden leaves of the continent's woods, Bri comes to Velaris to experience what it's like to love and be loved within a family unit. The ever-virginal ingenue is taught the slings and arrows of all things regarding love-making by the dashing Azriel. Though Az is known to not take up too much space, Bri awakens his complacent side, bringing him a note of ice-cold swagger that only she can see.
