Bakugo lives in the darkness and the only hope he has in the world isn't strong enough to save him, so instead of dimming the only light he knows, Bakugo decides to end his life, but things don't always go as planned and with the help of Kirishima, Bakugo is finally able to overcome his darkness.

**IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING** Katsuki Bakugo is a rebel, a loose canon a boy who will do anything to ensure his survival. That's the only way to describe the short tempered boy. After being caught in an unfortunate incident of theft he was thrown into a cold cell, fully prepared to sit in the miserable place until he were to rot, knowing that, despite his stubbornness, he had no chance of escaping. Kirishima Eijirou is much like Bakugo, a boy who isn't quite in the greatest of financial situations. Much different to our rebel Bakugo, Kirishima is kind- which he would claim to be manliness- and very much is an opposite in personality to Katsuki. Despite this, Kirishima can only do his best in the world he lives in and after a series of very unlucky accidents he is to- thrown in a cell. The land the two boys live in is unkind and ruled by a cruel King, one who gets pleasure by watching others pain. In a fit of cruelty this King throws the boys headfirst into a chain of fights for survival. The two must do their best to survive, and do, but what happens when the King noticed the friendship- and maybe more- blossoming between the boys. Will Bakugo live up to his standards of doing whatever it takes to survive or will he refuse? ----- Disclaimer- I do not own either of these characters or some of the characters within this story. I'm honestly ashamed of this book. I wrote it some time ago and it just has so many things wrong in it and is overall cringe. The ash-blonde whipped his head to where the shorter boy stood, piercing red eyes meeting soft dark green ones. There he was. The loud, brash, cocky Katsuki Bakugo, sitting on the concrete wall of the bridge, with his shoes off and wallet out, ready to jump off and end his life at any moment. . . Bakugo is always rude to everyone. Loud, rough, mean, and hateful. But that's just a mask he puts on every time he leaves his room. The thoughts are always there, the voices and words. They won't shut up. They won't stop telling the truth. Everyone is out to get the aspiring hero, and his mind won't let him trust anyone. Tired of pretending (kiribaku)
Katsuki Bakugo is tired, tired of feelings so fucking pathetic. He's a shitty person, with an even shittier life. It's what he deserves, isn't it? Funny how fate has a way of balancing the scale. He'll never be a pro-hero, not when he's barely surviving each day he has to put up with his mother. But he's not asking for pity, Katsuki Bakugo can take care of himself. And no one needs to know anything, they need to keep their damn mouths shut, or else they'll see the wall he's built up is slowly tumbling down. This is Kiribaku btw is the title didn't give it away. !!!Disclaimer: this is a four year old work and written in first person. It's not my best to say the least but I'm leaving it because it was an important part of my writing journey (although I'm not putting "angsty Bakugo fanfic" on any portfolio ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ) I rewrote the summary because I hated it but mostly everything else is remaining unchanged because I'm too lazy to edit a 70k story. Be warned this is in first person and this fic does cover some serious topics (how well it does that it up to you).
