A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . .

In the wake of devastation, Mandalore has been recovering from the Mandalorian-Jedi War. From the ashes of conflict, a Duchess rises, leading the New Mandalorians towards peace with the Galactic Republic.

Within the Jedi High Council, suspicions arise about the ruler of Mandalore's true intentions. They enlist two Jedi Knights to investigate the Duchess.

However, an even bigger threat appears when the Jedi arrive, leaving them rushing to keep another war from brewing. Secrecy might be their only option when embroiled in the shadows of war . . .

Wassup. I know the cover's garbage, but that's all I can do with limited resources (*cough* no Photoshop *cough*). But you know what? I made do. 

So anyway this is what I call an original fanfiction. That means that it's a fanfiction that doesn't involve any major characters that appear in Star Wars, canon or Legends. It takes place during the Legends Mandalorian Excision, even though I'm going off the canon version.  You shouldn't have to know anything beforehand to understand the story. However I will say that this specific story is kind of based on Obitine when they were on the run.

Just leave her be. I'll meet you wherever you want. Take me, please, just leave her out of this." I hear Jasmen crying. "See, but where would all the fun be in that? I could smack you around, take away your fancy cars, and you'd be fine. But if I do this-" I hear Jasmen screaming again. What the hell was he doing to her? I swore the minute I got the chance too, I was going to kill him. "No, please stop! For fuck sake, please!!" I felt helpless. I was letting her down in the biggest way. "See what I mean. This beautiful doll is your Achilles heel man. And you won't like it, she won't like it, but I am going to enjoy this next part." Having uprooted her entire life for love, Jasmen finds herself stuck in London with Heartbreak and penniless. She soon finds a job at a big company and falls for CEO, Lucas Bowers. After a whirlwind romance, the shades are pulled from her eyes. Can this new, awakening relationship survive Lucas past? Or will one or both lose their lives because of his lies and deceit?

Din Djarin must defend the child against dark Force wielders who would gladly take the little one off his hands. He will have to decide whether to trust some new allies, for the safety of the child. Note: This was written before season 2 of The Mandalorian came out. I wanted to throw together some characters from different Star Wars series and see how they'd interact. Turns out, a couple of them did end up meeting. In this story, they get to go on a whole adventure. They learn some things about each other and about themselves along the way, which is often painful, but could create bonds of trust if that's what they choose. Getting into these characters' heads and exploring the Force and the galaxy far far away have been an amazing ride. I finished this story on May the 4th, 2020. Then later, my friends urged me to polish it up and put it out there. So here it is for anyone who would enjoy it! It's not meant to replace anything that's going on in the show (which has been amazing so far, by the way). It's just an exploration and speculation on these characters and their universe. This is a fanfiction. The universe, most of the characters, and most of the locales belong to Star Wars. If you search a character or planet on Wookieepedia and it comes up with nothing, chances are I made them up (because I checked, too, before I gave them names). However, they were sometimes partly inspired by existing characters or planets in Star Wars. My use of the mando'a language was inspired by its use in Karen Traviss's Republic Commando novels (which I highly recommend if you want to learn some things about Mandalorian culture . . . And they're good stories.)
