Berry, a young village girl is in love with dragons. She hopes that she can eventually get a pet dragon and when she does it's the smallest, a baby dragon, no smaller than her hand. It disappoints her but no matter! She has a dragon now.

Eno, a newly hatched forest dragon is about to be assigned to a human. His ambition is to be a good little pet for the human girl he is gifted to. He loves to cuddle and sleep which seems to make the human sad. Not understanding why he upsets an elder.
