Lily DeWinter was that girl. The one who nailed every dance exam, got every prize, especially the coveted scholarship to the Royal Ballet School. Five fast years later, she's a dancer at the New York Ballet. When Lily suddenly finds herself out on the streets, abandoned by what she thought was the perfect boyfriend, and to add insult to injury: pregnant, she doesn't know what to do. Slowly trying to build her life back together, she struggles to work, laugh and live. This is my attempt at writing a romance story, so please note that it's a BIG work in progress.

Adah and Myra first crossed paths in high school, where Myra, a cocky and wealthy boy, had just broken up with his first love but determined to make her jealous, he used Adah,a gullible girl, and ultimately ghosted Adah without closure when his first love wanted him back, years later, Adah is determined to prove herself as a professional badminton athlete, training in New York City for the Olympics, despite not having the financial means to attend university. Meanwhile, Myra is thriving at university in NYC. Their paths cross again by chance when Adah arrives in the city, leading to a complicated situationship filled with miscommunication, heartache, and emotional turmoil. Despite the chemistry between them, their journey is riddled with struggles-old wounds resurfacing, class divides, and unspoken expectations-that seem to pull them further apart rather than bringing them closer. With barely a glimpse of hope left for a happy ending, both are left to question their futures, their worth, and whether love, in all its complexities, can truly bring them together.
