This is a rewrite of my other story, sorry for all the people who liked the other version of the story, but I just wanted to rewrite it so it made more sense. I also didn't really like how it was going so far, nor did I really know what I wanted to do with it, so sorry about that. 

This story is different from the other version, instead of a different ending to the episode "I am my mom", its a different ending to the episode "The Trial."

Also, most of this story is going to be in 3rd person. So, if the POV isn't specified just know it's in 3rd person.

So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet. This boy, as known by pretty much everyone in the town, was Steven Universe. After catching his breath slightly, Steven notices an older boy stealing a loaf of bread from a nearby grocery store. Determined to stop the apparent "criminal behaviour", Steven rushes into action, startling his three female companions, and soon all four are chasing the older boy.
