Sokovia, January 22, 2008

It was a normal day, well as normal day as it can be for a HYDRA soldier. This particular soldier had been walking through the streets of Sokovia when he had heard what seemed to be a baby's cry coming out of a stack of crates in an empty alleyway.

Slowly, the soldier made his way down the dark alley and tore off a thin sheet of fabric from one of the crates, only to reveal a small baby boy. The soldier was momentarially shocked, the baby couldn't be more than a month old.

The soldier picked up the child and quickly examined it, thankfully the boy had no injuries and had stopped crying once the soldier picked him up. Suddenly the soldier remembered talk of finding new 'volunteers' for HYDRA's latest experiments.

The baby boy sneezed, breaking the soldiers concentration, and the soldier quickly rapped the sheet of fabric around the baby and made his way back to the closest HYDRA facility, trying not to think about how the baby in his arms could possibly die from what HYDRA could put him through.

Shaking his head, he continued on his way. He glanced down at the boy who had fallen asleep, He believes he just found the newest 'volunteer' for Project Dark Rune.
