In the bustling streets of the city, where fate often orchestrates unexpected encounters, Liliana Blake and Ivan Mon-Dragon crossed paths. She, a beacon of innocence and accomplishment, adorned with the grace of her achievements, and he, a titan of ambition and legacy, molded by the weight of his family's expectations. Their worlds collided in a whirlwind of chance, where love, like an unstoppable force, began to weave its intricate threads around their hearts.

But love, as they say, is a complicated tapestry. As their affection blossomed, shadows loomed over their happiness. The rigid constraints of tradition and obligation cast doubt upon their burgeoning romance. Ivan, bound by ancestral mandates, faced the harrowing prospect of an arranged marriage, a union devoid of his heart's desires. What happened when Liliana found out he was engaged to someone else? Would they succumb to the pressures of duty and convention, or would they defy the odds and carve their own destiny? In the face of betrayal and heartache, will they embarked on a journey fraught with sacrifice and courage, determined to defy the constraints that threatened to tear them apart? Will they find the strength to overcome adversity and embrace the promise of a future together?

In a small village, half hidden along a mountainside, Kieren was slinking between shadows. Footsteps sure even with so little moonlight. The softest brush of bare skin against knobbled and far-reaching trees. Not even a whisper of sound from stepping on the coarse dirt beneath his feet. In this world, Drakes were the epitome of power amongst the species. Only making up 10% of the population, humans making up the other 90%. Drakes could be found in the highest positions of power in communities or in positions to protect others (such as guards, watchmen, knights, patrolman). No one questioned this, dragons taking care of their own. A private species with traditions and rules that only dragons were privy to. Making sure none over-reached so that there would always be peace and harmony amongst the dragon territories and between humans. A symbiosis that all worked hard to maintain. Humans were born with vibrant and colorful hair throughout the world. The more rare the color, the more blessings, respect, luck and riches came to them. Fiery red, leafy green, aqua blue. Eyes that matched their brightest feature. Dressing in the same colors or even brighter shades to demonstrate their extravagance, their standing in society. They normally worked side by side with the higher ranking dragons, helping to keep harmony. All Kieren knew was that he would have to remain cloaked, face obscured at all times. The villagers said he was a defect, so they made him their servant. His skin too pale. Form too slight. Eyes not right. An ugly thing where he should be thankful they did not kill him right away. To be grateful for their pity and staying their hand. The worst, they would tell him, was about the coloring of his features; his hair and eyes. It was a color that had never been seen before amongst humans or dragons. *Please read tags! Don't like, don't read, don't leave unhelpful nasty comments.

"You've become so damaged that when someone tries to give you what you deserve, you have no idea how to respond." He says taking a step closer to me. I frown. "So, it's my fault? That I'm to blame for being damaged?" "No, it's not your fault at all, but it is your fault for believing you don't deserve better. That you don't deserve to be happy." Nathan looks away from my eyes, inhaling. "Maybe the little things that you consider your weakness are actually the things that people treasure most about you. Maybe you hate that you care too much...or that you wear your heart on your sleeve. But seriously, some people think that's the best damn thing about you. We all have different little things that make up who we are, we don't need to change those things, but we can choose who we share them with." "What are you saying?" Now so close to me, he places his palm on my cheek, and whispers. "You're treasure, Madison...I hope you realize that." ________ Nathan Lane a Billionaire heartthrob who has everything in his life.
