Celeste Knight made it to highschool without being found by either Camp Halfblood or Camp Jupiter. She had been chased down by monsters in her last two schools but her shitty abusive step mom, Mandy played it off as her faking mental illness for attention or as an excuse for bad behavior. Unable to make friends due to her personality and the rumors that surrounded her, as well as her Dad that she was once close with began to drift when he married Mandy, Celeste has never felt more alone.

Leo Valdez just got shut down by Khione and is beginning to feel left out due to Jason and Pipers growing relationship. Thus his large ego and confidence took a huge hit, doing his best to hide his feelings as they return from his quest he made himself feel isolated and alone.

What happens when Celeste meets the egotistical engineer with an overwhelming need to be accepted and loved? When Leo Valdez meets the cold and apprehensive loner who has already given up on the need for friends or family relying solely on herself?
