(7 years of age) I watched him from across the room, laughing at his friends jokes and at the clown. Being 10, he was going through the phase of thinking he was older than he actually was. Despite that, he was still a sweetheart. His black hair covered his forehead, and his eyes twinkled. I knew it then. I was in love. I was in love with Victor. (13 years of age) Standing beside his locker, surrounded by all the jocks and every single cheerleader or slut this school possessed, he couldn't have been more beautiful. Just as 3 years ago, i was captivated and couldn't find it in me to turn away from this beautiful, kind example of a human being. His black hair covered his forehead, and his eyes twinkled. I knew it then. I was in love. I was in love with Victor. (15 years of ages) I watched him leave. I watched him put his suitcases in for check in and i watched him pull his hood on top of his head. He looked sad, exactly what i felt. Standing there, watching him leave i knew he would always have a special place in my heart, whether it was 5 or 50 years from now. His black hair covered his forehead, and his eyes twinkled. I knew it then. I was in love. I was in love with Victor. Forever And Always. *************************** Chelsea's been in love with Victor for as long as she remembers. I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well... I didn't get that.... but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce... Royce was two years older than me and had the prettiest purplish eyes and blonde hair. He was the most charismatic person I'd ever met. Then shortly after me and Royce's first appearance we met Jack and Koa. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, until I realized that I had fallen for Royce. And he seemed to fall for me too! After our third anniversary, he started to become cold. He no longer joins me studying, he was even reasoning out that he's tired all the time and that he couldn't send me home. I said it was fine, I can manage. I thought it was just that, but it wasn't. I decided to confront him, I went to his condo and there, my greatest fear welcomed me without warning. He was with a woman, a pregnant woman. He was holding her like she's the most fragile thing on earth. They looked so happy. I didn't know how I managed to compose myself and walked towards them. As soon as our eyes met, he froze. I looked at the woman tensely and lifted my hand as I introduced myself as his classmate and she introduced herself as his girlfriend for a year, already. He said he loves her more. That every time we are together, his mind was with her. He said I make him hard, but she makes him weak. He said I make him feel special, but she makes him feel loved. He told me to punch him and berate him for he would rather end our relationship than leave her and their baby.] But the story, my story doesn't end there because I chose to move forward and be the strong woman that I am.
