Gideon stopped mid step, turning around so suddenly that I had to take a step sideways so I didn't bump into him. Instead my hip clashed against the kitchen bench, making me double over. Fuck, that was going to bruise.
Gideon didn't care that I was bending over in pain, he grabbed my upper arm straightening me, forcing me to look at him.
"Say that again," he said slowly, after a moments pause he smirked, "That's what I thought. You definitely thought I was a man last night."
