Laureen Rhodes is a young American woman who went on vacation to England with her family, best friend, and boyfriend. One evening when her boyfriend came to pick her up to join the party organized by the hotel, he found her lifeless body in the middle of the room. Aleth Brown, the detective, is assigned the case.
P.S: This is a short story written for school. So far, there is only one Aleth Brown survey, but maybe I'll write more.
P.S²: The style is very inspired by a series called "Murder in Paradise".

Un soir alors que son petit ami, vient la chercher pour rejoindre la soirée organisée par l'hôtel, il retrouve son corps inanimé au milieu de la chambre. Aleth Brown, détective, se voit charger de l'affaire.

This is actually supposed to be the 5th installation of The Arrangement series but it's the third book I wrote. Feel free to read this while I write the actual 3rd part. Alex Carter, 28, is a prosecutor who takes on all rape cases and occassionally acts as a defence attorney especially when police brutality is involved. She has a deep hatred for cops. Especially Detective Kane-Evans and her sleazebag partner Detective Rivers. But she has no choice but to work with them especially in rape cases. Unfortunately, Detective Kane-Evans was the best in her field. Alex found her absolutely gorgeous with her long dark brunette hair which was almost black and her blue green eyes, too bad she was an asshole cop just like the rest of them. She hated it whenever she would try and flirt with her. It was totally unprofessional and completely uncalled for. No wonder why everyone calls cops pigs. But then something bad happens and she finds the only person who she can trust and who can protect her is Detective Kane-Evans. She soon finds out that maybe, just maybe not all cops are bad. There was a gruesome murder in a 5 star hotel in London. The victim was a French lady from a reputed business family in Paris. Scotland Yard started investigation and soon more complications came up. Secret agents from Paris came to London under the instruction from French embassy in London to help the investigation. Things got even complicated as further information revealed that the French lady and her late husband were connected to NGO activities in Syria, and under cover they are providing money to rebels to do revolt against the Syrian government. Both UK and French governments were also involved in those activities. The lady possessed a secret plan to provide arms to the rebels and that got missing from her room. Also, a neighbor in her floor in the same hotel got missing. Couple of days later the dead body of the person was found in another hotel. Scotland Yard pin pointed a person as a killer but later it was found to be a big blunder. The actual killer vanished with the plan keeping the innocent person to be hanged.Complete
