Opal and Jess are two typical teenage girls living in the Irish countryside in 2005. Opal is your average, shy, ambivert, animal lover. She's shy at first, but once you get to know her, she'll never stop talking. Jess is not exactly ordinary. She is much more passionate about, well- everything than most people. She isn't fancy, and because of her intensiveness, most people don't understand her. But she is extremely protective of Jess. And Opal is like the mom of the two. So, of course, she tries to help Jess stay out of trouble, but when she addresses Jess's cigarette addiction, it lands their friendship in hot water and lands Jess in rehab thousands of miles away, in San Bernardino. "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. Opal Green is a unique girl with a unique name, but her name defines her personality. She is beautiful, has many different colors of creativeness radiating from her and she is as pure as the stone itself. After her father died in a car accident she moves to her mother's house in New Mexico. She's the new student once again and with no problem she makes friends with a few of the students as well as a few of her teachers. At lunch on her first day Opal and her new friends to go for a walk around the school when she is warned about the only "real" rule there. "Art is a no-no." Of course Opal was confused but soon realized Art isn't always good. As if the fates allowed it, Art was handcuffed and walked out of the school's front door. The thing Opal didn't know about this school was that although the real art programs are quite successful, it's the only school in the area that delinquents and rebels are accepted into. Is Opal willing to stay at this school for the Art program?

Anyone who crossed his way was met with brutality and cruelty within him. He kills without remorse.
