Hope Renewed: A dark vow

The sight was unbearable let alone the smell. The whole thing happened so quickly, she probably didn't feel much pain at all. Just relief. Or so I hoped. Not to long after I was again welcomed home with the same sight. Blood everywhere and dead, cold eyes. And there is where it all started. I renewed my hope with a dark vow.
