In a bleak moment of vulnerability, Chat Noir renounces his role as a Superhero. Through a couple clues and a small amount of help, what will Ladybugs reaction be to who lays on the other side of the mask? When their well-kept secret isn't so much a secret anymore, how much danger is the duo really in? How far are they willing to go to save each other, and themselves? When things go south, will Marinette find it in her to keep going or will her other half break her completely? Doubt circling the air, will they make it past this...?
After all, isn't pain numbed by the ones you love?

They're so focused on one another that they don't notice the figure monitoring them in and out of costume. Will the reveal lead to the two breaking ties? Who'll make the first move? There's two endings, the alternative ending is the more interesting of the two in my opinion There is swearing but nothing sexual that goes further than them making out. Short explanation at the beginning in case you need it, constructive criticism is encouraged Credit to the creators of Miraculous, i only created the storyline but you probably knew that already. FINISHED IN 2015. Chantage is French for Blackmail. Book ||1|| of the French Lessons Series. This isn't the regular story between Chat Noir and Ladybug. Akumas never existed in this fictional story, and Hawkmoth doesn't ethier. But their Miraculous' still live on. Now, you would think that with no Akuma and no villains that were evilized to fight, that means that Adrien and Marinette just keep Tikki and Plagg around as pets, right? Wrong. You see, Chat Noir is the most wanted, most sneaky, and most flirtatious villain in Paris, France. He is a thief, a vandalizer, and is always masked. No one knew who the real Chat Noir was. Not one person. Not even Ladybug, the hero of Paris, trying to arrest the flirtatious wanted teenager. Every night, Ladybug, or the unknown Marinette, chases Chat Noir around the city trying to catch him. She absolutely hates him. But he on the other hand absolutely loves Ladybug. Even while she was attacking or trying to dodge Chat's attacks, he still found a way to some how try to make her join his side. That is, until Chat found out Ladybug's little secret, and can only use his blackmail to force Ladybug to make a decision. Which will she choose? (And this book is completed, but I will be editing it over a unspecified course of time) (Don't be scared by the small number of chapters, they average 35-50 pages long) Excerpt; "Alright." The boy took in a deep breath. "Plagg, claws out!" A brilliant green light filled the room before quickly shutting off, in Adrien's place was now Chat Noir. He nimbly jumped to the ladder and darted out the hatch leading to the balcony. But if he had looked back before bounding through the city of Paris, he would have seen the shell-shocked face of Marinette, who had woken up to see her crush transform into Chat Noir. Too bad he didn't. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Because this cat's curious, And his bad luck might just start catching up to him... Minor Adrienette and LadyNoir. Based off the events of season one only and set two years in the future. So as you know Chat Noir is tired of all those secrets , hiding his identity is diffictult , but even more difficult when he doesn't knows the girl who is behind Ladybug's mask since he loves her . He would do anything to see that mysterious girl , but he also knows that she doesn't want him to know and respects that . Negative emotions sometimes overtake him , but tries to hide them , fearing that he will get akumatized . He doesn't like all those secrets and he wants to make Ladybug understand that hiding her identity from him , won't change anything ,but make it worse , he doesn't want to tell her about his fear , so Ladybug refuses to reveal her identity , but telling the truth . Chat Noir gets very emotional about and Ladybug too , but the only difference this time is that Chat Noir has let negative emotions take control ...
