I felt their breath on the back of my neck, I shivered and froze in horror of realization. A warm hand slid over my mouth with a ragged fabric in hand. I tried to scream but it was muffled. I breathed in, it was sickly sweet at the same time. Then I understood it was chloroform. Then I felt drowsy, I closed my eyes and relaxed as I felt hands steady me as I drifted off.
