Two Lost Souls
Natsu Dragneel is 17 years old, he is in his final year at Fairy Tail High. Natsu is closed off, detached, rude and generally doesn't like being around people. He refuses to let anyone else in except those he couldn't shut out. There's a new transfer student and he just can't seem to get rid of her and he's not sure if he's annoyed or happy with her presence. Lucy moves to Magnolia transferring to Fairy Tail High hoping to get a fresh start after the last few rough years. She makes some fast friends who she seems to treat like family, she even reunites with a family member she hadn't seen in years. However she also bumps into the coldest man she's every met and something about him just seems off and maybe nostalgic. It's confusing, along with frustrating and it seemed like whatever she was running from was trying to catch up to her. The two teens both feel so lost, like they just don't know what to do anymore. Natsu feels broken and unworthy of anything, he doesn't even know why he's still alive somedays. Lucy is terrified and stressed keeping so many secrets sometimes she doesn't even know what's real anymore knowing that pretending to be happy doesn't make her so. The two can't seem to escape each other and they start to think maybe their aren't supposed to, maybe they were meant to guide each other. Find peace together no longer being two lost souls.

"Natsu, you make me happy. And I don't know how I could've gotten through this week without you. Even with me not being able to speak you didn't plead with me to get me to talk or force me to talk. It made me love you even more for that." I paused for a moment, feeling the lump in my throat form, signaling that I was going to cry again. I took a shaky breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know how I'm going to get through how ever long it is until I see you again. Please convince your parents to come with me! Please Natsu!" After Lucy and Natsu had just confessed their love for each other. Lucy finds out that her parents pass away in a fatal car accident. A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works?
