Elena is in college with Bonnie and Caroline, she was in a happy relationship with Damon until all of that ended when he decided to turn his humanity off. Elena never liked it, she decided for a new change in her life. 

She moved away to Kansas to start a new life with Bonnie and Caroline as her support group taking their classes online from now on, Jeremy Elena's brother moved with her too so he could be close to her, to protect her and her best friends. 

She decided to go to a bar to drink her old self away and to start a new life, until she hears a deep voice next to her asking for a bourbon. As she stares intently, she couldn't help but feel some sort of connection to him. 

She didn't even know this guy and she's already falling for him, as he stares over to her while she looks away, he couldn't help but feel the same thing. As he stared long enough for him to take a picture, he started falling for her head over heels and thought she was the most beautiful angel that ever existed.

Elena hits her head in the roof and is unable to move. She coughs as glass bits crumble to the ground. "Ahh!" She screams in pain. Running feet are heard coming by. "Hello!" Dean appears and scares her. She screams. "Elena, it's me." He says. "My seat belt...I think it's stuck. I can't-" She says. "Sh sh sh." Dean says and crouches to her level. Dean looks around to make sure that no one thought he was kidnapping her.
