Dream is a selective mute. His mother desperately wants him to speak, so she hires someone to become his friend and gain his trust.
Although he still remains silent, a deeper bond is formed between the two of them, one without the need of words.
George catches himself falling in love and when those feelings are returned, he can't help but feel terribly guilty for the decision he made earlier.
If Dream finds out George is getting payed to be his friend, that bond might be broken forever, he might be broken forever.

What was meant to be an easy quest in a woodland mansion goes wrong and the encounter with its magical inhabitants leaves Dream cursed so that anyone who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Now it's up to George to save his best friend before the curse turns deadly. Can he break the curse without his own feelings getting in the way? A realistic medieval minecraft au that I haven't really thought out too well. This is mostly about exploring the relationship between Dream and George because I think they have a very beautiful friendship. Originally posted and completed on ao3 because I didn't have a cover for wattpad. The plan was for me to draw a cool cover because I like to think I'm a pretty good artist, but I'm also lazy so here's a stock photo I put text over.
