Hells gate was opened... Hundreds, possibly even thousands of demons crawled their way out before the hunters managed to close it. Dean only has one year left to live. It's seemingly hopeless for both Winchester brothers.

However, Dean decided to get his brother and go somewhere new. Somewhere Dean had never mentioned but had promised his little brother that there was a person there who could help them.
In comes Marigold 'Goldie' Gilbert. The heart and soul that most vampires seemed to lack. The misunderstood, the lonely and damaged, the best damn hunter Dean ever knew.
Upon first glance at the boys, she's willing to slam the door in their faces but Dean refuses to give up hope. If he was going to die in less than a year, he wanted to spend that time making things right with the girl who stole his heart.

This story begins near the end of season 9. It may contain spoilers from earlier times. Season 9, episode 21, 'King of the Damned' where they acquire the First Blade and kill Abaddon occurs in the story. This is the story of how Sam and Dean encounter their soul mates. and how they come to realize that's what's happening, each in his own way and time. Learn the tragic backstory of the sisters that helps make them ideal mates for the Winchesters. Sexual encounters will occur that are somewhat graphic in nature, but not, in my opinion, pornographic. But it is much more than that. It is a mystery story as well, with elements of suspense and surprise. Join Sam, Dean, Katie and Maggie as they try to figure out how the girls got there, who might have caused it and why, and who exactly it is that now wants to use Sam and Dean for their own nefarious purposes. Can the couples escape this fate? Or will Sam and Dean be whisked away to an unknown land, to face dangers and terrors they have never before encountered? It is also a psychological study of sorts, as both Sam and Dean slowly find themselves changing in different ways due to the influence of the girls. I hope you enjoy this story.
