This story consists after the events of the finale of the Gifted TV show. Except this is a what if. so I have changed the outcome of that episode. the Inner circle won and achieved their goal of blowing up the government and starting a mutant homeland.

the story takes place a few years after when Dawn the daughter of Marcos and Lorna has chosen to fight back and bring back the mutant underground.

New challenges are faced every day. The Inner Circle is still up and running and they are trying to take the underground down in new ways all the time. The Purifiers are still attacking mutants at an increasing rate. Sentinel Services was hunting Mutants and they were getting closer and closer to the Underground. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.
