This is a story about a curious girl that is quite strange. Without any friends - probably because she's so strange - she finds other ways to entertain herself. You see, this girl has a peculiar interest in frighting things, and it sets her apart from others. They prefer to stay away, to be safe. And so, this misunderstood and lonely girl tries to fill the emptiness in her life, searching for meaning. But it's her curiosity that leads her into trouble. Because, sometimes, it is best not to know. "So, I took a step, and then another, and another... I decided to go straight so I wouldn't get lost. And I did so, until I turned around and saw only forest. And then... I decided to go a little deeper. If I had time, I would walk all over it, with the faint hope that I would find something. Something different, something worthwhile. Something out of this world. But I knew I wouldn't find anything, just like I didn't find anything when I was a little kid, all those times... But still, I kept going. It was like my soul was pushing me on, but my brain knew there was nothing to look for. It had been a while since I felt that way. The hunger for the unknown, for fear to take over my body, until every single hair on it stood up. With every step, I thought, I should probably get back. But I only kept going. Now. I should turn back now. But my curiosity took the best of me. Just a little more. Just a little. Please. With all my might I wished for meaning. For something where my desire could feast upon. And it did. Quite literally."
