Unexpected romance.. (don't be fooled), grand parties in ballrooms under disguise as assassins, betrayal, a flirtatious and humorous facade to hide the pain, drama of events, and mysteries to be solved.
When she joins the rival assassin association of her past guardian and her now sweet and understanding childhood friend, she develops relationships with the members and falls into a maze of mixed feelings, sparkly parties, pretty dresses, and of course.. people to assassinate.
But they don't know who she is and of her past identity, the adopted daughter of the notorious rival association. It could result in serious backlash, and she doesn't know how they'll react. Hiding behind a flirtatious and easy facade, resentment builds at their mistreatment of her. Will there ever be a person she could be comfortable with? Will she be able to put aside her feelings and focus on the honeyed memories with them, or will she crack?
Feeling excluded, finding herself, strong female friendships, and a very unexpected romance.. Or any romance at all? Don't be fooled by what you think is obvious..

This a light read, but explores themes of negative feelings, so it's definitely not too light. Don't take it too seriously, but look forward to some slight twists. Enjoy! :))
I wrote this a loong time ago so reading the beginning of it I was just like..... yikes. It's just extremely cliched and has a lot of things I wouldn't everrr write today, but you might enjoy it and things do get better!
