Everyone deserves a second chance at love and in this case, Monet does.
Having to leave the only home you've known at 14 because of something that wasn't your fault would shake anyone up. 12 years ago, Monet left home scared, feeling alone, and pregnant. Forced away from her friends, school, and family, Monet travels to London to leave with her grandmother and finish her schooling through private tutors.
Leaving at the height of the Second Wizarding War with her grandmother to protect her young daughter and now she's back in London safe and sound with a soon-to-be Hogwarts first year. What more can she expect other than the sexy "dungeon bat" and war hero, Severus Snape?

I'm doing a little rewrite of this story. As much as I enjoy this story, some parts didn't sit well with me as originally written, so I'm doing some changes. I apologize for any inconsistencies in the interim. Enjoy. Professor Severus Snape Romance (mature) and Hogwarts adventure. What if JK Rowling's story of a School of witches and wizards was her first hand account from her own experience in the Ether Realm? Now it's my turn to take my place in that realm... which is one of many different realms accessible through the Threshold. I was chosen for a reason... one of the relatively few to be selected to cross into the Hogwarts Realm. I could live a whole life there, and then return as if nothing happened, at least it would seem to those in my reality. The challenge??? If it's real, then my mission isn't one to be taken lightly, as there are only a limited number of Occasions, and they are real to the Etherworlders... as real as our own reality. How can I let them down knowing that? How can I let 'him' down? He would only have so many chances at a happy ending... and I am bound and determined to be the one who makes that happen. Or maybe I'm just an optimist. What if Professor Snape doesn't even notice me? That doesn't matter. I will still try to save his life. Even if it breaks my heart. Fred and George look between each other before going up to the door, giving me an apologetic tap on the head and muttering something about killing Ron before following him back into the Gryffindor common room. My heart shattering as the painting shuts behind them, shutting me out of their life. A/N This is the rewritten story of My Choice, I started it back in like 2022, but never finished. after learning all about writing, I have come back to it.
