The year is 2021, the world you know is different beyond imagination. It first started with the discovery of the mysterious power known as Magik dating back to the medieval times. With Magik, humans gained extraordinary powers such as flight, super strength, underwater breathing, etc. Once obtained these powers can then be passed down upon generations in families. Some families were stronger in Magik than others and evolution of Magikal powers down the bloodline were common. Many countries and businesses prospered while others crumbled. Kingdoms and Countries soon coveted the mysterious Magik and led to countless wars. After what was called the War to End All Wars or the Great War, all sources of Magik just disappeared without a trace. Seeing the countless deaths and casualties of the Great War, countries and corporations began implementing laws and restrictions on Magikal powers. This led to the creation of Corporation Freelancer schools which teach students how to use their powers and in return they will be given a license and job to represent their Corporation. Corporation Freelancers are both seen as heroes to some and villains to others.
Follow Jimmy Ing, a student at one of Atlanta's Freelancer schools, take on this journey to become a Freelancer. On this journey, he will face obstacles and the adversity of becoming a Freelancer. However, he isn't alone as he has friends and enemies along the way. Will he succeed and prosper? Or will he fail and be a loser.
This book is sort of a fanfiction made by me and is based on my real life and discord friends. I have taken HEAVY inspiration from different kinds of anime and manga to create a world filled with my friends and I would love for you guys to spot the anime/manga I have been inspired by. Anyways Season 3 is currently being worked on so check back for new chapters, I'll try to upload daily!
