Matsukawa x Fem!Reader with a twist? Probably slow burn btw

Y/n and oikawa are twins!! At 12 years old their parents divorced leaving Tooru with their mother in Japan and y/n with their dad in America.

Their mom was born and raised in Japan, while there dad has duel nationality with America and Japan

Y/n was raised in a completely different environment then tooru, she was raised on a farm with her father and relatives where she helped tend to the livestock and such. She wears her boots, jeans and a cutoff almost anywhere but school. Y/n absolutely hates the uniform has looks forward to the free dress day they get every other Friday. She was never into sports much but loves listening to tooru talk about volleyball anytime they got the chance to call due to the time difference.

She is best friends with iwazumi as her tooru and Iowa hung out as kids and still talk to this day thanks to tooru.

Tooru doesn't like to talk about his family much, so no one but iwazumi knows about and y/n

Y/n moved backed to Japan due to her father being killed in an unfortunate work accident (bro is a welder) she is happy to be able to see tooru and iwa again but honestly a little intimidated with the sudden change to her life. She is often seen with the aoba johsai volleyball team. Especially tooru, iwa, makki, and ofc mattsun

A/N: I'd really like to try and portray more of a 'hick' y/n than the normal y/n who wears super cute outfits, dresses, the grunge, and the alt styles I see all the time in x readers. As myself fit more into the hick culture as I live in butt fuck no where and go to a technical school. This type of y/n is for fun so read this for shits and giggles for all I care. Also I'm doing this on a complete whim and haven't quite decided on a total plot. Apologies for any OOC character choices :)
