This is a story about a girl, Haven Barone, a 19 year old adventurer. Jinx Barone, her younger sister, always looks up to her older sister. But what happens when the sisters find out that Jinx is, "Infected"? What happens when Haven's only family gets taken away from her by the government who call themselves, The Divine. 
     Knowing her chances of getting her sister back alone are slim, she ends up in a rebel group who call themselves, "The Rising."

    Will this band of rebels be enough to take out the corrupted government? Or will Haven's dream of saving her sister die with the country?
