Sucrose, who was the daughter and part of the royal bloodline is the next in line of ruling The Kingdom of Mondstadt.
Even though she's royalty indeed, she had trouble making friends in her childhood because not many people can relate to alchemy.
But then she stumbled upon a boy, who's named Albedo.
The two became friends, and possibly, almost more than that. However, one person decided to ruin it all.
Suspicions were laid, rumors spread, and gossip was active which lead to a huge misunderstanding to a quarrel between the two best friends.
But after that frustrating and misleading event, Albedo was forced to visit somewhere far from here and it was ordered by his father.
He didn't want to leave Sucrose but he had no choice... not even getting the chance to say a proper goodbye.
He left Mondstadt and Sucrose behind for nearly 2 years.
Sucrose didn't see him under the tree anymore, nor in the kingdom; thinking he was taking his time off but it seems like he was - literally.
She waited under the tree, the specific spot where she would usually see him but he was never found.
Will Albedo come back and meet her once more before Sucrose loses all hope? Or will he just leave her like that, all alone?
And even though they think that waiting for each other was the biggest obstacle in their relationship, they still had other and bigger obstacles to overcome...
