I felt the hall getting smaller as I ran through it. The memories of my past rushed through my head and I could not help but cry, as I continued running, the voices from behind still chasing me as I tried to escape this feeling of closure that held me tight.

This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count.
