In the city of Gothic Prime; crime families are law, police are either corrupt or inefficient and a lot of regular people are living in fear. Things are looking worse than ever for (Y/N) (L/N), a young but experienced hitman who had done various jobs for the previous mob in control of the city. After the city had been taken over by two rival syndicates; The House of Luca and Fenrir Den, he was knocked out of business and stayed retired for quite some time.

However, events will soon transpire that will see him returning to the dangerous life he had so agonizingly missed.
