This was an English project I had to do. It's a narrative based on the Chernobyl Disaster. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I hope you enjoy it. This is completely my original idea. The plot, characters, and pretty much everything else is mine.

The Zone: Life and Death
Yuriy, a man born in a small Ukrainian town outside of the 30km Zone of Alienation around the site of the Chernobyl disaster struggles to support his family as the growth of the Zone's borders threaten the stability of the area and more. Reports of fence-hoppers known as Stalkers (Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer, Robber) seeking wealth, adventure or asylum within inspire him to risk everything in pursuit of the money his family desperately needs. But with the promise of wealth and adventure also come rumors of environmental anomolies that defy the laws of physics and deadly mutants with terrifying properties. Yuriy must make his way to the Zone, evading military patrols along the border of the ecological disaster zone, steer clear of anomalies able to crush an APC to the size of a tin can or reduce a man to fragments with explosive force, and establish himself in one of the several factions observing loose alliances or vendettas with each other as they further their own goals in the Zone. Along the way, Virtue makes some friends and enemies while experiencing the horrors of the Zone first-hand. While on a mission, his team and him discover disturbing evidence that sheds new life on the supposed accidental explosion in Reactor 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. They decide to take matters into their own hands and make for the inaccessible center of the Zone to uncover the truth behind what really happened and discover the origin of the Zone.Complete
Lost to the Zone
Midoriya Izuku was Quirkless, weak, treated lesser by all but his beloved mother. He'd lost so much since he was four years old, and now the norm is his former best friend chasing him down to kick the shit out him, and his highlights are getting to watch spandex wearing bozos kick the shit out of each other. So, at 16 years old, when he takes a turn down an alleyway and suddenly finds himself being turned into a pin cushion by a bunch of urban camo wearing zealots, Izuku knew his life had reached a brand new low. Or how Izuku gets pulled by the Zone into 2018, fights to survive against mutants, anomalies, bandits, religious zealots, slavers, some crazy hippie anarchists, joins a barely surviving group of soldiers and scientists, starts a faction war or two, introduces a bunch of bandits to the fear of God and sends a few to meet him, and somehow gets yeeted forward 150 years into Japan with most of his gear, PTSD, and a healthy nicotine addiction and crippling alcoholism. Now he's set to fight those spandex wearing bozos' bosses and unveil just how rotten this Hero centric Society really is. He will show them all what a Hero truly is like. A MHA/S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fanfic where Izuku gets isekai'd into the world of STALKER. Izuku x Momo Other ships yet to be decided.
Stealth Journeys with the Steam Mapper
A 2019 Wattys entry deeply into climate change, global warming, and environmental destruction, especially the nuclear kind! A lot of true facts are embedded in this story which has both true and fictional characters. Who is to be believed is for you to decide. The chapters are many but many are short. Still, it is a full-sized novel with promise for future adventures. Plot: An international crew of scientists board a large state-of -the art oceanographic vessel privately funded by an anonymous source. The itinerary is to travel down the west coast of the Americas and travel the South Pacific to Antarctica. The team plans to visit many known sites of hydrothermal vents using a device called the MAPR, searching vents for a bacterium that seems promising in use as a way to fight carbon dioxide emissions. But one of the two junior scientists on the team soon realizes that secrets are being kept, and makes promises to keep some, while learning that some onboard have entirely different agendas. To complicate matters, this junior scientist's desire for a special friendship grows in intensity, just as mysterious murmurings and strange sightings intensify. This is my fanfic of the PC game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. It's an excellent game based on the Strugatsky brother's novel 'Roadside Picnic'. This novel was the first to made me realise that aliens would be so...well...alien, that we wouldn't be unable to understand anything about them, not even their waste! The game differs from the book. Among other differences, it is based on the fallout zone of the Chernobyl reactor and the city of Pripeyat a. I wrote this for a contest and I won a copy of the game, personally signed by the entire development team! This is the story of Oleg and leonid, Stalkers. One is ambitious and will stop at nothing to gain control of his faction and the other a traumatised outcast on a never ending search for his lost sister.
