Samantha is a princess, and her family is royally screwed up. Her family was once fine and humble, but then her father found out he was the lost prince and when he took the throne, I guess you could say it went to his head. He made it his goal to be the most feared throughout all kingdoms, and that included his own, and even his family. When Samantha and her friend Ethan find a mysterious girl maybe they have a chance to save the kingdom, family, and world. Quick warning that this has some mature topics like abuse and the toll that can take on mental health. There will be talks of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and possibly some mentions of being suicidal. If these topics trigger you then please don't read this book. I'm not making this mature because I personally believe that mental illnesses should be talked about more with the youth, but you know yourself better then I do so please take care of yourself. If you decide to read this then be ready for some real cringe.

happiness. it's almost as difficult as trying to summarise a whole book in just a few lines. so, where do we begin? ara agassi. 17 year old girl who coped with the shitty life built for her by drugs, cigarettes and sex, yet somehow she still felt completely empty. all she wanted was to be happy... or die. or better yet, not exist. all she ever wanted was to feel loved, whole, not much to ask for, right? wrong. love, peace and all that other bullshit was impossible for her. how are you supposed to recover from your past when it seems to define you? with a little help? what happens when that help is from a childhood friend who turns ara's world upside down. would that, maybe, push her off the edge?
