The Real Heroes // Regulus Black

Selene "Seelie" Davies was the type of girl who noticed everything. First it was the way Remus Lupin, a boy who didn't even know her name, was hiding the biggest secret a boy his age could. After that it was the small pattern of bruises on Peter Pettigrew's arms. Bruises that she recognized more than she would ever admit.
No one ever payed much attention to Selene Davies, a young gryffindor girl with, in her own words, the 'greatest ability of all time, blending in'. There isn't much anyone could tell you about the girl, even those who bothered to get to know her a bit quit when they discovered her family, which to the young girl was a good thing.
That is, until she met Regulus Black for the first time in her fifth year. And, more importantly, when she clicked with the broken and self hating youngest Black. Finally, she had someone to care for.

"Who's that gryiffindor over there? Sitting with your brother?" James asks his best friend curiously, pulling him to a halt on their way back to the castle after quidditch that afternoon. Remus Lupin looked up at this, glancing around for a moment before his eyes caught on those of a girl even he- a prefect -didn't recognize.
"My name is Selene, Selene Davies." The girl shouts to them from several meters away, so far that they were sure even Remus with his werewolf hearing wouldn't have been able to catch what they had said.
