it's been five years. Harry doesn't have the answers for his four year old son, as he knows Ginny isn't his mother. his relationship with Ginny is long over. Leaving him a young, 22 year old father of four children. 
Hermione is the only one who questions why there are so much of the war (and years before) gone form her best friends memory, and when something happens? questions need to be answered.
