This is where I will be detailing ideas for an AU I am currently working on. I call it Danganronpa: Purgatory, and the basic premise is that every student is given the opportunity to survive their murder/execution in exchange for some unfortunate consequences...
This is still a WIP so I would love to get y'all's support and please share your ideas for the AU in the comments! However, please try not to leave spoilers and if you must please add a Spoiler Warning
Also, major spoilers for Danganronpa, because duh. Also also I will be implying some ships here and there. (Mainly the ones that are already canonically implied)

Sixteen Students across three different Danganronpa seasons are chosen to play a killing game where if the die again they die forever. If they live they will get to return to the land of the living, but there's a twist. This time there will be one extra student participating and they are a student that died outside the killing games. Can the group escape this time or are they destined to find themselves repeating their last mistakes.Complete

Danganronpa: Despairblood Manor - An Original Fanganronpa Sequel (WIP)
(This is a sequel to Danganronpa: Darkened Hope. I recommend that you read Darkened Hope if you haven't already, both to avoid spoilers for that story, and to contextualize this one.) Another killing game.... another bunch of students.... another story of murder and betrayal and deceit.... But this time.... Something's different. When Benshirou Kuwahara woke up in the courtyard behind a mansion, he didn't know what to expect. At first glance, it appeared he was being held hostage with fifteen other students with exceptional talent in certain skills, somewhat like himself. But the truth was much more horrifying than just a simple kidnapping. Monokuma, the supposed landlord of "Despairblood Manor," as he called it, was nothing but sadistic and cruel. To escape, one must murder. With this one simple rule in place, everyone's lives are in danger. What will become of the Ultimates residing in the mansion? How many will die? How many will survive? Will they ever know the answers to these questions, or will the bloodshed keep on going?

Thousands of years after the Tragedy, humanity had rebuilt itself. There were still Japanese tales and legends of the alleged killing games; some believed them, some did not. Ultimate students who attended high schools and colleges were about the only thing that stayed constant throughout time. Needless to say, life moved on without a second thought because the people who experienced the despair were long gone now. But when Masaru Yamaguchi, a new college student, wakes up in a closed off school knowing only his name and talent, everything changes. It seems someone has taken the role of bringing the killing games back to life and now Masaru has to figure out who and why. Danganronpa OC Compilation
TW: Mentions/descriptions of death, Suicidal thoughts and mentions of suicide Spoilers for all Danganronpa media basically, except the manga series. This franchise completely took over my life in 2021 and so I went a tad over board with the OC creation. There's just so much you can do with how off the rails this franchise is. Theres 4 OCs in each main game and 1 or 2 in the animes and Ultra Despair Girls. I fit them into the existing story as best I could since I didn't want to structure my own fanga. I hope I did it justice. Side note: I know the games say someone has to already be attending high school to get accepted into Hopes Peak but I kinda ignored that requirement, it is fanfiction and that rule never really plays a part in the main stories so I dropped it.Complete

But at the last minute, there was a change of plans. Makoto Naegi. A perfectly unremarkable boy with no discernible identity or personality. And yet, Junko Enoshima couldn't seem to kill him. She sent her sister Mukuro after him instead, and when their worlds collided, both of their lives changed forever. Before you ask, yes, the cover is stolen fanart. It was way too good not to use and I couldn't find the original artist. I know just saying 'credit to the artist' without naming the actual artist is a total dick move, but I couldn't trace this back to anyone and it was freaking adorable, so. Sorry about that.Complete
