alyssa parker is a strong, yet shattered homeless 17 year old who was once richer than the average man. once her parents passed, she had nothing but scattered dumpsters behind buildings, and sometimes old cars to call home.

school was rough, she hadn't gotten a great education when she went to high school. until one boy came along who would change her world. he helped her financially, gave her clothes, and introduced her to his friends, the pogues, as they were supposedly called.

farther along, she gets a call from an unknown number, saying she has big news coming. what was coming could changed her for better or worse.
