The war was over at last. New first years would be joining, the OWLs and NEWTS would begin again and the (what were) 7th years would be returning to complete the year that should have taken place before the second war fully broke out. 

This year, however, was different in more ways than one. The returning students were unaware of just how MUCH would be changing. The school had work done and many pure blooded families had become less prejudice and actually helped fund the repairs.
