Aiden lived the normal life of an 18 year old, well, almost. He was rich, living prosperously and able to attain everything he ever wanted but nothing could ever satisfy him. He always felt something missing, a part of him, yet, he doesn't know what it is. When the shipwreck occured, the only logical survival instinct for everyone was to get onto the closest land they see but what if that was the exact thing they should've been staying away from? What if the vampire that saved their lives from the werewolves was only another predator waiting to pounce? What if what Scarlet said about Aiden's past life was true, that he really was the royal blood to the vampire empire? What if genocide truly is the only way to end this war once and for all? The true question is what if he was the key the prophecy was talking about, how was he going to save everyone without dying trying again and without killing his soulmate?

"She carries the moon in her blood-and wolves are starting to remember." She thought she was just a girl with a strange birthmark and a healer's touch. But beneath her skin, something ancient stirs. Layla has lived her life on the fringes of a world divided between shifters and humans-neither prey nor predator, neither pack nor rogue. Her only family is a lioness of a best friend and a body that heals wounds with a whisper. But when a wounded wolf collapses at her feet with gold eyes and a voice that says, "I thought I'd never find you," the quiet unraveling of her truth begins. As moonlight reveals marks no one can explain and instincts begin to whisper in forgotten tongues, Layla is pulled into a world she was never meant to touch. Or maybe... one she was always meant to rule. Because some gods are not reborn. Some are simply returned.
