(Y/n) is an orphan because her real father suddenly vanished when she was 5 her mother died giving birth to her so she ran to the forest in surch for her father. She looked all day but couldn't find him so she sat against a tree when a very tall man walked up to her crouched down and spoke to her. He asked if she was alone and she said she couldn't find her father so he took her in six years later she gets a letter telling her she's a witch. Then a professor by the name of Snape came to pick her up to get her stuff then dropped her back off to the mansion.

I wrote this in 9th grade it's mortifying. I stole some ideas from otherfanfictions. That being said it is actually a really good fanfiction but the pieces don't really connect.
