George had no right to disagree with the king. He should have no right to the throne, he was chosen to do exactly what the old man needed. That was his role. Anything less and he could be replaced. He knew that. The Prince forever lived on thin ice, there were many who were more fit for his position and George had come to accept the harsh fact of reality. He was replaceable, nothing special, especially to the king.
Pretending to be someone else is much more difficult than you'd expect and George had to find out the hard way. How long can the Prince of Arleigh keep up his façade?

Clay was born too early which makes him struggle a lot. His daily battle with multiple disabilities doesn't make his life easy and after also being bullied, even by his own brother, he shuts down around almost everyone and develops selective mutism. Instead of talking, he starts writing to the person he wants to become friends with. George who struggles with ADHD and a mood disorder suddenly receives notes in his locker each day from an unknown person. The notes cheer him up each time and at the same time he starts becoming closer to the quiet and shy Clay. When George also becomes friends with Clay's brother, he has to choose between either him, who hates Clay, or choose for the sweet Clay. But does he fall for the manipulative behaviour of Clay's brother or does he stay loyal to Clay? Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life.
