"Who is there?" I squeak out nervously. I keep looking around my dark room. I hear no reply as I keep franticly looking around. "M-Maybe I'm just hearing things," I mumble out softly as I look around the room once more.
I start to relax slightly as I take slow breaths to calm myself down. I glance one last time around the room before I lay my head back against my pillow and close my eyes once more as darkness consumes me.
