The Selection of Prince Asher

Crown Prince Asher Schreave was Illeá's golden child. His father, King Creed, has led the nation strongly for the past twenty five years. His mother was a selected girl(Casey Reynolds)l and they married months after Creed was crowned King.

With his father having changed the law that a King must marry before being crowned, Asher never worried about having his own selection. He's dated a few different women but never really worried about getting married until he's ready and finds the right one.

When he is 17, Asher gets into a pretty serious relationship with Tiffany Howell. The country is prepared to celebrate an engagement and a new princess. But after Asher's 19th birthday, it falls through. The couple is no longer together and both Tiffany and Asher have dropped out of the public eye.

King Creed announces that Prince Asher has gone abroad to study and will return when his studies are finished. Tiffany doesn't ever resurface and the royals have refused to talk about the past relationship.

Prince Asher is gone for six years. Long has his studies since past and the public has almost forgotten about their Crown Prince. They get updates from the Royals about how they are hearing from him and he claims to be returning but never shows up on the appointed date.

Finally, with no warning, he resurfaces. His family welcomes him back privately. The public clamors for facts about him but he has refused to go out in public, refusing to speak to any press. There is no real proof that he is back except the words of his family.

The next announcement the public hears is that Crown Prince Asher is holding his own selection. Girls are encouraged to apply and try to win the hand of the mysterious prince.
