"Ethan~" Their voice sang darkly, sounding like a broken record. All the hairs on Ethan's body stood on end, how did they- no it, how did it know his name? No human could have possessed that voice, staticky like a broken speaker, yet smooth and deep at the same time. Building up the smallest amount of courage he could muster, Ethan's eyes shifted to the side, unblinking, burning and forming small tears in the corners. Followed slowly by his head, muscles clicking into place at every movement, expecting to come face to face with something.
Everything went black.
In an instant, his friends sanity was gone and his head was missing.
