Diary of Darwin Malone, a 16-year-old high school student. A girl who seems to be everywhere, but never truly belongs anywhere. The one who speaks often, yet never really says much. A girl with secrets she can't quite grasp, even though they're her own. She always thought she knew herself, but in truth, she's never really known who she is. She knew she was different from her peers but couldn't quite figure out why. To her, life is nothing more than a giant puzzle, waiting to be solved.

Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. "I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
